Exhibition news: Lirex 2010, Libya
The 1st edition of the biggest exhibition for railway industry in Libya, Lirex 2010, took place from 12 through 14 June at the capital of Libya, Tripoli. The event showcased not only a wide range of latest products and equipments for railways sector but also placed emphasis on security decisions for transport and passenger terminals.
AWAL for Information Technology, our Libyan sales partner, has presented PERCo waist-high turnstiles integrated into complex security systems.
According to AWAL, products presented were a success and generated a great deal of interest not only from the experts but also visitors from various Libyan government bodies - the AWAL’s stand was visited by the Libyan railways authority, the Minister of Economic Affairs, the Minister of Transport and the Russian Railways Manager.

Exhibition news: DDS presents PERCo turnstiles at IFSEC 2010
Directional Data System Ltd, our UK sales partner since 2005, has returned from IFSEC 2010 www.ifsec.co.uk held on May 10-13, at the NEC in Birmingham.
Celebrating its 22nd birthday this year, IFSEC 2010, the world's leading global annual security event, spread over seven product areas to source all security solutions, uniting over 25,000 security professionals with more than 600 world leading companies. By the show organizer, IFSEC 2010 was a hugely successful show despite the economic downturn.
Mr. Malcolm K Meikle, DDS Sales Director commented: «We were launching the new T5 tripod and the KT-02 IP-Stile based on Ethernet as well as TTD-03 and RTD-03 units. This gave us a good mix of security products and we had a good deal of product interest all round». The visitors flow at the stand was rather good and this year an interest to PERCo equipment was shown not only by European clients but also by security professionals from Lebanon, India and Iraq.
«In general, I would say that the show was better than last year and we will be better able to judge in a few months time», said Mr. M. K. Meikle.

Company news: Innovative PERCo entrance control systems appreciated in Southeast Asia
PERCo goes from strength to strength in the international security market.
A recent addition to the company export portfolio, PERCo innovative Ethernet-based entrance control systems have been highly appreciated by clients not only from Europe but also from Southeast Asia, the region traditionally focused on electronic security solutions.
To date PERCo KT-02 IP-Stiles and compact tripods have already left St. Petersburg for Bangkok, Thailand becoming the 73-rd entry in the list of the counties we currently cover.

Exhibition news: PERCo turnstiles at NORDBYGG 2010, Stockholm
ABAS Protect AB, our sales partners in Sweden, took part in the NORDBYGG 2010 trade fair in Stockholm, 23-26 March 2010. NORDBYGG is the largest architecture and construction fair in the Northern countries. A record number of more than 850 exhibitors filled the premises of Stockholm International Fair to show their products and services for construction and real estate.
ABAS Protect AB exhibited such main PERCo waist-high products as the TTR-04.1 compact tripod turnstile and the TTD-03.1 box tripod turnstile with railings, and the WMD-04S wicket gate. Also shown was the new KT-02 IP-Stile entrance control system.
As Roger Axelsson, ABAS Sales Director, pointed out during the trade show: «We do like the quality of the products we are demonstrating here. At this fair we want to introduce PERCo access control products to planners, architects and construction consultants from all of the Nordic region: first and foremost from Sweden but also from Denmark, Finland and Norway. We are very positive about the outcome of our participation – the stand is receiving a great deal of interest from the visitors; we have had a number of architects who requested detailed information about the exhibited products so that they could include them in their projects»

PERCo opens second phase of new plant in Pskov, brings more jobs
March 1st saw the cutting of the ribbon at the official opening of the second stage of the new PERCo manufacturing plant in Pskov.
The ceremony was attended by several top federal officials including the Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Northwest Federal District Ilya Klebanov and Pskov Regional Governor Andrei Turchak.
Despite the current economic slowdown, PERCo keeps increasing its production potential and bringing more jobs to the region.
By the end of 2010 the manufacturing plant is set to reach full capacity with staff totalling 500.

With the recent addition of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the number of countries in our international sales list has mounted to 72.

PERCo products installed in 71 countries
A new country, Tunisia, has entered into PERCo international sales list.
A shipment of the TTD-03.2S box tripod turnstiles was recently delivered to a customer in the North African country. The turnstiles are now up and running at the installation site.
